Built in 1905. A Miss Alice Masley and her mother, lived here in 1924, before Alice married Frank Briggs from Detroit. After their betrothal, the couple lived in Royal Oak, MI (Chicago Daily Tribune, 20 July 1924). In 1925, Eve Schein lived in the house with her parents, Mr and Mrs Sigmund Schein. After Eve married Ben Lenchner, they resided at the Wayne house. This house has a twin at 6229 North Wayne, pictured below.
